Giving with Google Pay

What is Google Pay?

Google Pay is a digital wallet that allows more flexibility for how you donate or pay by storing payment information in a Google account, rather than entering a debit or credit card number. That means when you want to make a donation or payment, all you have to remember is your Google login and password to access your previously loaded payment methods. Note: you can manage your Google "wallet" payment options via your Google Account under Payments & Subscriptions. (accounts.google.com or pay.google.com).

How can I use Google Pay?

If your church has enabled Google Pay, it will present as a payment option alongside Credit Card, Debit Card, and Bank Account.

  1. Select Google Pay as your Payment Method.

  2. Enter a Billing Email address. Note: The billing email address entered here should be the one associated with your giving account (if you already have one).

  3. Click the button that says GPay, and a pop-up window will appear allowing you to select which saved card you'd like to use for this transaction.

4. Once you've selected your card, click CONTINUE to complete your gift or payment.

Keep in mind, that Google Pay will appear blank if you've not already added payment methods. If you decide you'd rather not pay with Google Pay, simply close out the pop-up window and select a different payment method on the giving or registration form.
