Managing Giver Payment Information

Objective

This guide explains how managers can assist givers with managing their payment information, including viewing, editing, and adding payment profiles.

đź’ˇ Why Manage Giver Payment Information?

Helping givers manage their payment information ensures smooth and uninterrupted giving. Managers with the appropriate permissions can assist givers by viewing, editing, and creating payment profiles on their behalf.

How to View a Payment Profile

  1. Access giver payment profiles from various places in your manager dashboard, including the Donors Report, Transactions Report, and Auto-Donations Report.
  2. Within the giver/gift’s row, click the tri-dot Action button, then select Payment Profiles from the dropdown menu.
  3. The giver’s Payment Profiles window will appear.

How to Edit a Payment Profile

  1. Access the giver’s Payment Profiles window (see above).
  2. Click on the existing payment profile you’d like to edit.
  3. Click on Edit Card or Edit Bank. Complete the form and save!

How to Add a Payment Profile

  1. Access the giver’s Payment Profiles window (see above).
  2. Click + Add New Payment Profile.
  3. Click on either Add Debit or Credit Card or Add Bank Account. Complete the form and save!

Important Notes

  • Security: Your givers’ payment information is always completely secure. Only the last 4 digits of their existing payment profiles are visible.
  • Permissions: Managers with the appropriate permissions can view, edit, and create payment profiles on behalf of givers.
