Getting Started with Amplify Media

This is a quick review of the media dashboard that will take you through Media types, how to download, and how to navigate to the Designer feature.

To see media types, you will hover over Browse media, and notice the menu that has Home and the several media type categories.

  • Motions will contain dynamic slide backgrounds, title graphics, and slide countdowns that can be broadcast to show church is about to start. This content contains moving aspects that can engage your audience with bursting colors, nature, and more.
  • Mini movies will have short, average 1-minute videos that are inspirational, seasonal, and can engage your congregation during services. You can view a short preview before downloading or bookmark it if you want to come back to it later.
  • Slide Templates allow you to create dynamic media that contains giving links that you can broadcast during a livestream, highlight upcoming events and more. Once you click a template, you can utilize the Color Match feature to receive the color code if you like a specific color within the template. Color Match is also available within social graphics, stills, and layer graphics.
  • The Social Media Graphics category allows you to view content formatted for your social media platforms and can be filtered by posts and stories. Within the social media category, you can click subcategories created to address what you’re trying to accomplish on socials. Whether that is making an announcement, posting event information, or inspiring others throughout their day.
  • Still Graphics provide additional backgrounds and title graphics, but these have static content. There’s also an option to open the background in Designer. Designer is our editing tool that can manipulate the downloaded item to customize it according to your church or organization.
  • Layer Graphics provide a way for you to layer additional information over a livestream, backgrounds, title graphic, etc. This is convenient if you want to highlight ways to give at the end of a service, additional service times, or website links. Layers are .PNG graphics with transparent backgrounds. These are useful for customizing the look of your announcements and screen visuals by using pre-made graphics that match on another and can be overlaid on any background. They also work in Adobe Creative applications like Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects.

Next we will go to the side bar menu. Here you will see a series of icons that provide quick and easy ways to navigate around your dashboard.

  • Home is your dashboard view and will preview various trending media content that can be helpful for holidays and seasons. Clicking Home will always bring you back to your main dashboard.
  • The Designer tab provides options to start a new design in the designer tool and view your previously created designs and uploaded logos. Another option to view the designer tool is to navigate back to your dashboard and hover over Browse Media. You will also see the Designer Feature under the Home category.
  • Bookmarks will show what you have bookmarked in case you are ready to use something you liked previously.
  • Packs contain various motion packs offered including motion titles, countdown timers and more that are designed according to theme. You can utilize these packs if you are doing a sermon series or have a themed event. The present icon will show you free content that includes Still backgrounds, still titles and Spanish still titles.
  • Lastly, there is My Media. This page will show all the content you have previously downloaded. You can search by date range in case you cannot find your content immediately.
