Error message:
CANNOT CONTACT WEB SERVER TO PUBLISH CHANGES. CHANGES MAY NOT DISPLAY ON WEBSITE. IF THIS PROBLEM PERSISTS, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.
This error occurs if the Amplify Website module is not able to clear all of the appropriate cache files from the system to make way for the new content.
Often this is temporary and the Amplify Website module can publish the content immediately on a second try.
If this error persists, there are several known causes with which we will be happy to assist:
- FTP credentials or other server connection settings are incorrect.
- Site cache is too large or contains corrupt files that cannot be deleted.
- Permissions of key directories are incorrect.
- Site has recently launched and DNS settings are still in propagation.
If you still see this error message after about 5 minutes, please contact Support.
