Including a searchable and filterable list of small groups on your church website empowers users to find, join easily, and contact groups that align with their interests and schedules, fostering community and spiritual formation. Group Elements allow you to add Groups from your Amplify Website account onto your Amplify Cloud Website. These elements are styled to match your chosen Theme and can be reused, restyled, removed, and re-added to pages throughout your site.

Cloud Group Elements

This is an archive of all the groups available on your Amplify Website module, which can be filtered based on your preferences. In the Element's Settings, you can customize Categories, or Groups, as well as the number of groups displayed per page. Additionally, you can choose which parts of the group are shown, providing varying levels of information.
Connect your Group Layout Element to a Page using the Group Detail Element to present details about the group dynamically. -
This is a unique Group listing that displays the details of the current Group. You can link Group Layout, Group List, Group Featured, and Group Slider Elements to a Page using the Group Detail Element, which dynamically showcases the current Group.
Each Theme includes a Page called "Group Detail" that utilizes the Group Detail Element. -
This is a single Group listing that displays the details of a specific Group. You can link to a Page using the Group Detail Element, which dynamically showcases the current Group. The element is commonly used to highlight Category specific groups, ie: Women's groups on a Women's Ministry Page.

This grid list showcases all available Groups from your Amplify Website module. In the Element's Settings, you can customize Categories, or Groups, as well as the number of groups displayed per page. The Group Slider element showcases all available records from Groups on a rotating slider. In the Element's Settings, you can customize Categories, Groups, and the number of records displayed per page. You can select which parts of the Group records to show, providing flexibility in the information displayed.

Add a Group Element to a Page
- From your Amplify Website Cloud Dashboard, navigate to the Page you want to edit and click the edit icon
- Click the Add Element icon and search Group from the list.
- Drag your chosen Group Element to the canvas.
Connect Your Group Detail Element
If you've used the Group Layout, Group, List, or Group Slider Element, you'll want to connect it to a Page that utilizes the Group Detail Element so that when an Group title is clicked, the user will be taken to that group record's Detail Page.
To connect the element, follow these instructions:
- Once any Group Element is added to a page, click the gray element icon to edit the element
- Click the Element icon to access the settings.
The Element icon is at the front of the list of icons. Example shows the Event List icon.
- Click Choose the Page tab
- Type field: Page
- Item field: Search for a page that utilizes the Group Detail Element.
Note Your Amplify Cloud Theme comes with this Page already created called, "Group Detail."

Your Amplify Cloud Website includes different Pages featuring our Group Elements with advanced styling to match your Theme. You can easily add these Blocks and Page Layouts to any Page on your site to showcase Groups and maintain consistent Theme styling throughout your website.

This Page incorporates the Group Detail Element to display the current group dynamically. Whenever you utilize a Group Layout, Group List, Group Featured, or Group Slider Element, you can link it to the "Group Detail" Page, which uses this Layout.

Save Your Ministry-Focused Content Blocks and Layouts
Follow these instructions to add one of these options to a Page.
Your Theme includes Blocks and Layouts that utilize our Ministry Content Elements. To reuse these throughout your site, click the heart icon .
Note: Each theme comes with a Page called "Ministry Content Widget Page." You can save each Block on this Page to reuse styled content throughout your site.
To save individual Blocks
- Click the Blocks setting icon
- Click the heart icon

To Save Entire Pages
- Click the arrow icon on the Update page button
- Click Save Layout
To see a full list of your saved Cloud Blocks and Layouts
- Click the plus icon to add a Block or Layout to the page you're editing.
- Click the Saved tab: From here, you can choose Blocks or Layouts from the left sidebar to choose for your saved items.
