Module Overview

Sermons

This is the bread and butter of the sermons module. Here you will find all of the sermons you have ever published. As your site grows, you may find it helpful to sort and filter the sermons to narrow down what you are looking for. You can also search for a particular sermon by name, preacher, category, or series in the Search This List box.

Series

Each sermon can belong to one series. A series is used to help group your sermons when a user is searching for content on your website.

Categories

Unlike the series tag, your sermons can have an unlimited number of categories associated with it. Be sure to add category tags with care, since they are used to help a visitor on your website find your content easily.

Preachers

All of your sermons were given by someone! Be sure to acknowledge them by keeping your preacher's list up to date. Your preachers for sermons are different than your authors in the blogs module, or authors in the articles module. The wonderful thing about having preachers separated in this way is that the preacher does not have to have an account on your website (using Monk ID and the People Module), to have a sermon associated with them. Assigning preachers is important since they are used to help visitors on your website filter by a particular preacher.

Amplify Streaming and Sermons

If you are using the Amplify Streaming module, your saved streams will automatically create sermons records within the Amplify Website module, so you don't need to duplicate efforts.
