Website Plugins: Wordpress: Staff Module- Staff Set-up

The Staff Module allows users to add staff member listings to pages as blocks of content. There are a number of options for these blocks in appearance and layout.



1) Click on Members under the People Menu in the L-Bar. A list of all Small Groups will appear. 

2) To add a new Member, click on Add New Member. 

3) The Member entry page will appear. Note: when adding Staff Members here, you can also allow them access to your account.


4) Enter the First and Last name of the Member. Enter their E-mail Address. 

5) Choose a group for the Member to be connected with, if necessary. This is mainly for organization. 

6) On the next screen, you will be presented with a number of options for the Member’s access to your account.



  • If you want the user to be able to edit your Ministry Content, choose “Allow login to Backend.” 
  • If you want the user to be able to control administrator levels of the system, choose “User is a Site Administrator.” 
  • You can ignore Comments for now, as you will not be using these for your content.


7) On the next page, you’ll be presented with a number of fields for entering the Member’s information, including Address, Alternate Email, Home and Work Phone, and other information.

8) Finally, you’ll choose if you want your Member to be added to a Site Group.
