Streaming: How to Create a Streaming Event

**Note: To stream, you must schedule your broadcast. Events need to be scheduled at least 15 minutes in advance so the system can process the event. Your channel will not be available until the event time has been met, so please do not start the stream before the set time. When you are done with scheduling the event, please make sure that the post is set to public and not draft.**

 

**UPDATE as of January 2025: Any client purchasing streaming after 1/13/2025 will have the ability to set-up back to back streams with no buffer in between. If you are a client that has purchased streaming prior to that, you can click on the orange banner in your account to move through the Enhancement/Upgrade process.   • From your Dashboard click on Streaming> Events.

  • Click on "Add New Stream" in the upper right hand corner

  • Fill out your details and then scroll down to select the date

  • Select Day & Time and if you would like this to repeat.
  • Scroll down Add any Passages/Description then press Save & Next

  • You will then go to the second step which will allow you to set the type of stream you'd like, add Pre/Post Roll content and any additional content for your stream. Once you are done, you can click "Save" in the lower right hand corner to move to the step 3 and publish.

  • Click "yes" to save to Sermon Archives/Publish and set the "publish" status to Publish
  • Click Save & Done
